Nthaka is a Malawian-based research and practice organisation working alongside marginalised communities to build a more just, sustainable, and inclusive future. We use decolonial, participatory methods to advance climate resilience, gender justice, and community-driven knowledge and advocacy. Rooted in local wisdom and driven by co-creation, we operate as both an intermediary and a partner — bridging grassroots action and structural change.

To support communities, especially the marginalised —in co-creating just and sustainable futures. We bridge research and action through decolonial, participatory approaches that value diverse knowledge systems and local leadership. Together, we develop solutions rooted in lived experience and responsive to social and environmental challenges.
